We’re hiring our first Content Strategist at Normal Computing.
Normal is rethinking semiconductors from the ground up. This role sits at the intersection of technical writing and brand storytelling. You’ll help shape how we communicate our team, mission, products, and culture to the world.
That means creating original, principled, high-context content that translates deep technical ideas into narratives that drive commercial momentum, attract top talent, and help define an emerging category.
After 11 years at Palantir, I joined Normal because this felt like the most important mission I could support - where foundational technology meets the twin crises of AI’s energy demand and rising chip complexity. The storytelling challenge here is just as nuanced: expressing work that spans hardware, software, and physics. I’m looking for teammates who gravitate toward that kind of challenge too.
You’ll report to me and work closely with engineering, research, product, and GTM. Ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is outcome-oriented, and cares more about signal than noise.

Normal Computing | Incredible Opportunities
The Normal Team builds foundational software and hardware that help move technology forward - supporting the semiconductor industry, critical AI infrastructure, and the broader systems that power our world. We work as one team across New York, San Francisco, Copenhagen, and London.
Your Role in Our Mission:
We're looking for a Content Strategist to join our Communications team as the first central writing resource at Normal. In this cross-functional role, you'll communicate our products and mission internally and externally. It's an opportunity to embed deeply in a highly technical environment and shape how we tell the story of a new computing paradigm.
The position blends the clarity of a technical writer with the narrative instincts of a content strategist. You're a strong writer and editor who can move from drafting a scientific white paper to polishing a product launch blog post. You excel at synthesizing input from multiple sources into clear, "shippable" content, and you make thoughtful recommendations to elevate ideas and drafts. You'll partner with engineers, researchers, and product managers on technical articles and talks, and work with business leaders to frame their most important messages. You'll also translate complex technical concepts into accessible narratives for customers, partners, and the broader market.
Teams at Normal operate with a high degree of autonomy. You'll identify content needs and set your own priorities, balancing the big-picture story with attention to technical accuracy and wording. On any given day, you might edit a guide drafted by an engineer, write an explainer about a research breakthrough, create a conference deck, or fill a gap in the content library. Across all of it, you'll bring cohesion and polish to how Normal communicates with the world.
