Content Marketing Specialist
CandorIQCandorIQ is building the AI-native workforce planning and compensation platform for modern HR and Finance teams. We're a lean, fast-growing marketing team looking for a creative, tech-savvy Content Marketing Specialist who loves making things and sees AI as a force multiplier, not a buzzword.
You'll help bring CandorIQ's story to life across social, video, our website, webinars, email, events, and more. That could mean turning a founder interview into a LinkedIn post and YouTube video, editing a product reel, writing a blog, creating clips from a webinar, or building an AI-powered workflow that helps us produce and distribute better content faster. This is a hands-on role with real ownership.
What You'll Do
- Create content across CandorIQ and founder channels, including social posts, blogs, podcasts, emails, landing pages, webinars, and campaigns.
- Create and edit video content for YouTube, social media, and our website, from product reels and demos to interviews, webinar clips, and short-form video.
- Experiment with short-form video on channels like TikTok and YouTube Shorts, including developing concepts, editing content, and getting on camera yourself when the idea calls for it.
- Help grow our YouTube and social presence by thinking beyond publishing: experiment with formats, distribution, optimization, repurposing, and new ways to reach the right audiences.
- Turn long-form content like webinars, interviews, podcasts, and product demos into engaging content across multiple formats and channels.
- Own content projects end-to-end, from identifying the opportunity and developing the idea through creation, distribution, performance analysis, and iteration.
- Collaborate with product, sales, customer success, and leadership to turn product updates, customer insights, data, and industry trends into compelling stories.
- Incorporate AI into your day-to-day workflow and experiment with new tools, automations, and processes.
- Track what's working across channels, identify patterns and opportunities, and use performance data to improve what we do next.
- Bring us ideas. Test new formats, channels, tools, and approaches rather than waiting for a playbook.
- Support broader marketing initiatives including events, SEO, community, and brand projects as needed.
What You Bring
- 2-4 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related role, preferably within B2B SaaS or a fast-moving technology company.
- Strong writing and editing skills and an instinct for making complex ideas clear, interesting, and worth paying attention to.
- Hands-on video editing experience and the ability to turn raw product footage, interviews, webinars, and other recordings into polished content.
- Comfortable on camera and excited to experiment with being part of the content.
- Experience creating and distributing content across social channels, with an understanding of what drives reach and engagement.
- Familiarity with YouTube and video content, including publishing, optimization, audience growth, and how long- and short-form video work together.
- Meaningful hands-on experience incorporating AI into your workflow.
- A good creative eye and attention to detail, strong analytical instincts, a self-starter mentality, and curiosity and resourcefulness.
Logistics: Full-time, remote. Candidates must reside in CA, NY, TX, WA, CO, MA, or GA. Salary $70,000-$90,000 per year plus equity. US-based candidates only; no visa or green card sponsorship provided.
