Content Marketing Executive

ABOUT CIRCO

Circo is a content monetization, video-native platform built for the next generation of digital entertainment. We are at an inflection point, preparing to launch a product that puts creators and their communities at the centre of live content. We move fast, we have conviction, and we are building something that has not existed before in this market.

THE ROLE

As Content Marketing Executive, you will own the strategic content layer across everything Circo puts into the world. This is not a posting role. You will define how Circo speaks, what it stands for editorially, and how content drives growth across platforms. You will work directly with the CMO and set the brief that the rest of the content function executes against.

This is a senior individual contributor role with scope to grow as the team scales. The right person is equal parts strategist and maker: someone who can write a six-month content roadmap in the morning and edit a killer piece of copy in the afternoon.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN


  • End-to-end content strategy across all owned channels: blog, newsletters, social, video, and creator-facing content
  • SEO strategy and organic growth, including keyword planning, on-page optimisation, and content distribution
  • Editorial calendar and content pillars that ladder up to acquisition and retention goals
  • Platform-specific optimisation: knowing what performs on each channel and why
  • Campaign content planning in close collaboration with performance and growth functions
  • Creative briefs for the social media coordinator and any external contributors or agencies
  • Content performance reporting: tracking what works and iterating fast
  • Brand voice consistency across every touchpoint

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • 3 to 6 years of content marketing experience, ideally in a startup, media, or digital platform environment
  • Deep familiarity with the creator economy and how platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram operate
  • Proven track record of owning a content function, not just contributing to one
  • Genuine fluency in SEO: not just the theory, but the practice
  • Strong editorial instincts and a writing portfolio that demonstrates range and quality
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, pre-launch environments where the brief changes quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams without losing creative quality
  • Energy, taste, and genuine excitement about what Circo is building
