Content Strategy, Content Creation

Wpromote x Giant Spoon is looking for a Content Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve the AI-powered systems behind modern content production. This is not a traditional copywriter role. You'll report to the Associate Director of Content Operations and help clients create better content faster by bringing together human judgment, brand intelligence, performance insights, and modern AI-powered workflows.

You'll own the systems that move content from initial insight through final delivery. You will design, build, test, document, and continuously improve AI-powered production workflows that enable our teams to create high-quality content at scale. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients and industries, quickly learning new audiences, business models, brand voices, and regulatory considerations.

You will be

  • Designing end-to-end AI-powered content production workflows spanning research, ideation, strategy inputs, briefing, drafting, optimization, editing, quality assurance, repurposing, and delivery.
  • Owning the development of content across a portfolio of approximately 1 to 6 clients across a range of industries, working closely with Content Marketing and Digital PR managers to translate business goals, audience insights, and channel strategies into clear, compelling work.
  • Writing and editing across formats, including website and landing-page copy, articles, thought leadership, campaign concepts, email, social, paid media, scripts, sales enablement, and other digital experiences.
  • Learning and applying each client's positioning, brand guidelines, tone, voice, terminology, and editorial standards with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Building reusable prompt libraries, templates, agents, evaluation criteria, and editorial guardrails that improve speed, consistency, and quality across accounts.
  • Evaluating AI-generated work for accuracy, originality, relevance, bias, brand alignment, and editorial quality before it reaches a client or audience.
  • Conducting research, interviewing subject-matter experts, verifying claims, and transforming complex information into accessible, persuasive content.
  • Identifying friction in the content-production process and developing practical solutions that make the team faster and more effective.
  • Testing emerging AI models and content technologies, documenting what works, and helping establish responsible best practices across the organization.
  • Managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You must have

  • 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, editorial, content strategy, or a related creative discipline.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong writing and editing across multiple formats, audiences, brand voices, or industries.
  • Exceptional command of language, structure, grammar, storytelling, and persuasive communication.
  • Working knowledge of established editorial standards and style guides, with strong fact-checking and quality-control instincts.
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI throughout the content-development process, not simply for one-off drafting.
  • The ability to explain how you prompt, evaluate, edit, and improve AI-assisted work, including where human judgment must take over.
  • Experience building and working with custom AI assistants, lightweight agents, automated content workflows, and evaluation frameworks using platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Profound, or similar AI and LLM-based tools.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 to $80,000. Remote-first, with office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. This position may be performed remotely in most US states, with some exclusions, and is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
