Content Creator

Hi, I need some names because I'm on the hunt for a contract Content Creator to work on Pinterest’s Instagram! 📌

This is a 6‑month role for someone who gets Instagram, has video, photography, and design skills, and is always spinning up the next big idea. You’ll work directly with ME to ideate and craft content that inspires and engages our audience of 3.2M followers (and counting).

Here’s what you’ll do: 
- Create a high volume of original content (video, stills, and graphics) for Pinterest’s Instagram that supports long‑term brand objectives and audience growth
- Develop conversation‑starting, out‑of‑the‑box content that drives community engagement and conversation
- Regularly contribute fresh ideas for formats, series, and tactics
- Stay current on Instagram trends and best practices to bring forward‑thinking tactics to our channel
- Write compelling copy in Pinterest’s brand voice for assets and captions
- Work with creators to brief content needs and secure usage rights for UGC
- Support with publishing as needed

Helpful experience for the role:
- Creating for social platforms, lifestyle or media brands, and/or content creators (including your own channels)
- A strong, creative point of view and a brain that’s brimming with ideas—plus the confidence to pitch them
- Ability to work quickly and adapt while staying true to the Pinterest brand and voice
- Being a collaborative, enthusiastic team player
- Familiarity with some or most of: Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, and Instagram’s native editing tools
