WE ARE HIRING a Content & Social Lead at Maverick Social.
Full Time.
We're looking for someone who can turn people, ideas and businesses into content that people genuinely want to watch.
You'll lead content and social for both Maverick Social and our clients, owning the process from the initial strategy through to the finished post.
That means:
- Developing content and social strategies
- Learning each brand, audience and tone of voice
- Finding strong stories, hooks and repeatable content formats
- Building content calendars and planning shoots
- Briefing founders, clients and other on-camera talent
- Helping people feel natural and confident on camera
- Editing sharp, platform-native short-form content
- Writing captions and supporting copy
- Publishing and managing social channels
- Reviewing performance and improving the strategy
This isn't a role for someone who simply keeps the content calendar full. We want someone who can look at a founder or business, understand what makes them interesting and build a distinctive content engine around it.
You should be equally comfortable:
- Presenting a strategy to a client
- Directing someone during a shoot
- Editing the footage into a brilliant post
- Managing several brands without losing what makes each one unique
We're looking for someone who:
- Understands internet culture and what earns attention
- Has excellent storytelling and creative instincts
- Can edit compelling short-form video
- Communicates confidently with clients and talent
- Moves quickly without over-polishing the life out of content
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Takes ownership from idea to execution
- Cares about business outcomes
You don't need a traditional marketing background.
You don't need a degree or any experience.
A portfolio, personal account or body of work that demonstrates your taste, initiative and ability matters much more to us.
