This isn't your typical sales or marketing role. It's for someone who genuinely loves people, thrives on connection, and wants to be a trusted voice inside the promotional products industry.
You'll be showing up where distributors spend their time — Facebook Promo Groups, LinkedIn, events, calls — building real relationships with prospects long before they're ready to buy. Because only ~5% of the market is actively shopping for software at any given time. Your job is to be present and valuable for the other 95%.
What we're looking for:
✅ 2+ years in the promo industry (distributor, supplier, or service provider)
✅ 2+ years in a marketing or sales-adjacent role
✅ A natural communicator with a warm, human voice
✅ CRM savvy (HubSpot/Salesforce), social media native, AI-curious

We’re hiring a Community Growth Specialist to join our Marketing Team! Community First is one of commonsku's core values, and this role is the fullest expression of that value in action.
In this role, you will be a representative of commonsku inside the promo industry, showing up in the spaces where distributors spend their time, becoming a trusted and familiar voice, and building real relationships with prospects who have yet to experience commonsku. That means building relationships with commonsku distributor prospects everyday, in Facebook Promo Groups, on LinkedIn, in emails, on calls, and at events, with genuine curiosity and a desire to help. You will make prospects feel part of the commonsku community before they ever sign the papers.
Only about 5% of our market is actively shopping for software at any given time. Your job is to be present and valuable for the other 95%, so that when they are ready, commonsku is the name they think of. As those relationships mature, you will transition warm, ready conversations to our Account Executive team, and that handoff is where your community-building work converts into real business impact.

We believe in fair, transparent compensation. Starting base salary for this role is $60,000–$72,000, depending on previous experience and skillset, plus a 10% annual bonus opportunity based on company performance.
New hires generally come as high as the midpoint of this range. However, if this role sounds perfect for you and your expectations are outside of this range, we encourage you to apply and let us know in your application about your ideal package. This role is open to candidates eligible to work in Canada, with the exception of Quebec (we’re not set up to operate there yet — désolé!).
We’re remote-first, but if you’re based in Toronto, even better. That’s where we were founded and where we maintain our HQ today!
