The Role

A dream position for a writer who can transform neuroscience into content that millions want to share

You'll collaborate with our Chief Content Officer (CCO) and Chief Distribution Officer (CDO) to craft scripts, posts, and threads that grow our reach and solidify Flow State as the #1 global brand in the neuroscience of peak performance.

You'll take deep science and turn it into sticky, viral ideas that tens of millions consume and share every week. Your primary role will be to rewrite and reshape content based on what each individual platform needs to perform well.

The Opportunity

Help scale a brand already validated across major media with 30+ million views. Now we're aiming for 500 million — and you'll be at the heart of making it happen.

What We're Looking For

The skills and mindset to turn science into viral storytelling

Requirements

Proven track record writing high-performing social content across YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Substack

Experience repurposing long-form IP (books, podcasts, research) into short-form, platform-first content

Deep understanding of each social media platform's mechanics, user psychology, and current trends

Strong grasp of content psychology, attention hooks, and viral structure (per platform)

Knowledge of neuroscience, productivity, and human performance principles (or deep curiosity to learn fast)

Skilled in AI-assisted writing workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Spiral, Notion AI) while maintaining authentic human creativity

Collaborative mindset — thrives in partnership with creative, design, and editorial teams

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and relentlessly curious about human potential and peak performance

Output Expectations

What the role actually looks like

Minimum Weekly Output Expectations (LLM use assumed)

• 6 short-form scripts (IG/FB Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok)
• 6 X/Twitter threads
• 12 X posts (repurposed to YouTube Community, Substack Notes, IG/FB)
• 3 Instagram carousels
• 3 LinkedIn posts/carousels
• 3 Substack articles
• 6 X replies
• Eventually: 1–2 long-form YouTube scripts (not required at start)

Note: Work is non-linear (AI-assisted, heavy reuse of back catalog). We care about quality + growth more than raw volume. Fewer pieces that perform > many that don't.
