B2B Content Writing, B2B Content Marketing, Content Creation, Social Media, Email Marketing, Design and Video

Posted by: Fortune Kolawole, Head of Strategy and Marketing

We build the systems that sit around work in Nigeria: payroll, compliance, employee records, and the tools that help companies become better employers and help employees get more from their jobs.

Role Summary:

The Brand Storyteller owns how our story reaches the market. You will sit with business owners, HR leaders, and employees to understand what changed for them, and turn that into work the market pays attention to: customer stories, founder and leadership commentary, event coverage, campaigns, press-worthy narratives, and content people actually finish reading.

You will not be writing into a void. What you produce goes in front of customers, prospects, journalists, and a fast-growing audience, and you will see what it moves.

Why this role is worth your time:

  • You build a public portfolio: bylines, films, launches, and campaigns with your fingerprints on them, in front of a real audience rather than an internal folder.
  • You get access most people at your stage never get: founders, executives, HR leaders, customers, and the rooms where decisions get made.
  • You develop rare range across interviewing, writing, video, events, social, and press, which is the profile that grows into brand, content, or communications leadership.
  • You work at the speed of a company in its build phase, which means the responsibility arrives years earlier than they would elsewhere.

What you'll do:

  • Find and tell customer stories: Interview customers, identify the real turning point, and produce it as writing first, then for video and social.
  • Voice our leadership: Turn the thinking of our founder and senior leaders into articles, posts, and commentary that carry weight, including the pieces we take to press.
  • Own event content: Work our executive forums and gatherings, capture the strongest moments, and get clips, quotes, and write-ups out fast.
  • Build our content library: Guides, explainers, and the narrative behind our reports, written to be genuinely useful.
  • Grow our channels: Shape what goes out on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and newsletters, and learn what earns attention.

What we're looking for:

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in Content, Journalism, Communications, Social Media, Editorial, or similar.
  • Exceptional writing skills - Bring samples, we read them first.
  • A natural curiosity and ability to identify interesting stories and human angles.
  • Strong interviewing and communication skills.
  • Confidence engaging with customers, business leaders, executives, and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
  • A genuine interest in customers and a willingness to go beyond the desk to find great stories.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines.
  • A strong portfolio of writing or content work will be highly valued.
  • A BSc (2:1).

Must have:

  • Written English: Excellent command and the judgment to cut your own work down.
  • Social publishing: LinkedIn, X, and Instagram, natively or through a scheduler such as Buffer or Hootsuite.
  • Visual basics: Canva or similar, enough to produce a clean asset without waiting for a designer.
  • AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, or similar, used to work faster without losing your own voice.

Bonus:

  • CMS or site builders: WordPress, Webflow, or similar.
  • Video editing: CapCut, Descript, or Premiere.
  • Interview capture: Otter, Descript, or similar transcription tools.
  • Email platforms: Mailchimp, Substack, or beehiiv.

Nice to have:

  • Production sense: You can shape a shoot or a clip, not only caption it.
  • On-camera comfort: You can present on camera or on a mic.
  • Event experience: You have helped run or produce an event.

What you'll get:

  • A team of superstars who hold a high bar and make you better by proximity.
  • Competitive pay + benefits.
  • Leadership genuinely committed to your growth, with real coaching.
  • Serious ownership early, and the visibility that comes with it.
  • Work seen by customers, press, and the wider market.
