About Flance

We are building the fitness and wellness engine for Africa.

At Flance, we believe that staying active and healthy shouldn't be a struggle. We’re creating a seamless ecosystem that connects people, businesses, and service providers, making wellness accessible to everyone, everywhere. We are a lean, fast-moving team that values results over red tape and bold ideas over "the way things have always been done."

We’ve moved past the foundational stages and are now ready to get loud. We’re looking for a creative partner to help us take Flance from a "best-kept secret" to a household name in Nigeria. If you’re tired of playing it safe and want to build a brand that actually moves the needle on human health and happiness, you’ll fit right in.

Job Summary:

We are looking for our first Marketing Lead to take our vision and turn it into a powerhouse brand. You’ll be the voice, the face, and the creative engine behind our online and offline presence. We need someone daring enough to take risks, creative enough to stand out, and disciplined enough to ensure those risks lead to measurable growth.

Core Responsibilities

1. Brand Architecture & Voice

  • The Storyteller: Deeply internalize our mission and translate it into a compelling brand narrative. You’ll define how we talk, how we look, and how we feel across every touchpoint.
  • Creative Direction: Produce (or oversee the production of) high-impact visual and written content that doesn't just "inform" but "inspires."

2. Online Growth & Community

  • Digital Footprint: Build and manage our presence across social platforms. We aren't looking for "corporate" updates; we want scroll-stopping content that starts conversations.
  • Organic & Paid Experiments: Run lean experiments on various channels (e.g paid ads, influencer partnerships etc) to find out exactly where our audience hangs out.
  • Digital PR: Get us talked about. Reach out to podcasts, newsletters, and online communities that align with our mission.

3. Offline Presence & IRL Experience

  • Experience Design: Create physical "moments" for the brand. This could be anything from a high-energy trade show booth to a niche community meetup or a bold guerilla marketing stunt.
  • Physical Assets: Own the aesthetic of our physical presence—swag, signage, and print materials that people actually want to keep.
  • Boots on the Ground: You aren't afraid to be on-site, shaking hands, and representing the brand at the front lines.

  • Who You Are
    • Creatively Daring: You know which best practices to adopt and which ones to drop because they lead to average results. You want to try things that haven't been done in our industry before.
    • Result-Oriented: You are a "creative with a spreadsheet." You care about impressions and aesthetics, but you care about conversions and growth more. Every creative risk you take should be backed by a desire for growth. You’ll track what works, double down on winners, and kill what doesn't.
    • Mission-Driven: You aren't just looking for a job; you are stoked about what we are building. That passion is what will make your marketing feel authentic.
    • Resourceful: You know how to use modern tools (AI, Canva, etc.) to produce world-class work without needing a massive agency.
    • Must own a laptop, smartphone, and have reliable internet access.

    What we offer:

    • Compensation: ₦350,000 - ₦450,000 /month
    • Gym & Spa Passes worth +₦500,000/annum
    • Work with an ambitious, mission-driven team
    • Remote-friendly setup
    • Chance to shape a fast-growing fitness/wellness platform impacting thousands of users

  • Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and requirements for the position. Duties and responsibilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the business.
