Baseball Writer

Pitcher List is a constantly evolving company with a large vision for 2027 and beyond, continuing our goal to create the best baseball experience on the internet. This is a paid freelance role at $15 per article, plus additional opportunities. Experience is not necessarily a requirement for writing positions; your samples matter more than your resume.

There’s a whole world of baseball beyond fantasy baseball, and we’re looking for the right voices to help us cover the game as a whole. There are different ways to contribute to our baseball team:

• Long-form columns discussing a player’s story to the majors.
• Historical baseball stories, or maybe ranking the best ballpark foods.
• Stories from around the league, like the AL Central playoff race.
• Contributing to our daily and weekly newsletter.

The expectation for this position is to publish one article per week during the season, with the freedom to write more.

Pay: $15 per article, plus additional opportunities. Fully remote (US). Applications are open until 25 October 2026; responses by 15 November 2026. Inside the application form you’ll submit your resume, samples of your work, and a new written sample (writers and editors).
