Baseball Analytics Writer

Pitcher List is a constantly evolving company with a large vision for 2027 and beyond, continuing our goal to create the best baseball experience on the internet. This is a paid freelance role at $15 per article, plus additional opportunities. Experience is not necessarily a requirement for writing positions; your samples matter more than your resume.

For those interested in diving into players or metrics, using deeper analysis to really tell the story of that player. We have two sides to our Going Deep team:

• Our Deep Research team works on in-depth data and analytical pieces, such as introducing new metrics to the public or diving into current ones.
• Our Trends team works on a tight deadline to break down a player who has recently broken out or is struggling, diagnosing what’s behind the change.

Pay: $15 per article, plus additional opportunities. Fully remote (US). Applications are open until 25 October 2026; responses by 15 November 2026. Inside the application form you’ll submit your resume, samples of your work, and a new written sample (writers and editors).
