I'm hiring again! We're looking for a Content Lead to help own content strategy and editing across client accounts.
BACKGROUND
Hat Tip builds founder-led content motions for Seed stage to Series B startups, as well as $3-10M+/year marketing agencies.
In the past 18 months, we've grown from a solo founder to a team of 2 FTEs and 4 contractors. We now serve 15 clients, and are growing fast.
As a result, we need a Content Lead to help set and enforce content strategy, as well as help manage a team of writers (FT and PT) to maintain impeccable quality as we grow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THE ROLE:
- You'll work directly with me and undergo a rigorous writer/editor training program. I showed this to a client once and they called it "epic".
- You'll set and own client content strategy.
- You'll draft compelling content prompts to ask clients in their "content interviews", based on their product/service, ICP, desired voice, and other crucial factors.
- You'll run those "content interviews" with clients to ensure we extract the most compelling insights, stories, and anecdotes from their time running their company.
- You'll partially own writing the high-performing LinkedIn content required of us.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF:
- You have 2+ years of B2B social content writing experience (preferably for founders).
- You have 2+ years of experience in a Content Strategist, Content Director, or Content Lead role.
- You have a portfolio of public social posts to point to.
- Your attention to detail is immaculate.
- You spend time on LinkedIn recreationally, and are up to date on the trends, best practices, and ideas circulating the platform.
- You're quick to understand products, concepts, and lines of thinking: You'll be writing based off client content interviews, so this is important.
- You don't miss deadlines.
- You take constructive feedback well, and implement it into your work.
- You're a critical thinker who gets the job done.
- You're based in North America.
