ASSOCIATE CONTENT MANAGER

If you’re a Writer, Organizer, Critical Thinker, and Learner with 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, you could be great for Carve Communication's Associate Content Manager role.

Carve Communications is a full-service PR agency with team members across South Florida, New York/New Jersey, Chicago, and Dallas. Our focus is on generating awareness, establishing authority, driving engagement, and fostering activation for our clients.

We are seeking an Associate Content Manager to support the agency primarily across our B2B client and Carve-related content work. This role would be an important member of the content team within the agency, with a focus on Content Development and Analytics, Website/Blog/ Newsletter Management, Press Releases, and Client Relations. You will work closely with the VP of B2B Strategy and Executive Communications, Associate Content Director, and the PR team.

**This is a US-based, remote, full-time position that must be within 2 hours of Eastern Time zone.**

The Associate Content Manager will:

Support proactive content strategies across a specific set of B2B clients, especially in the sports and B2B tech space. This includes:

  • Contributing and executing against client editorial calendars. Formats can include blogs, newsletters, podcasts, bylines, scripts, press releases, social, and more
  • LinkedIn for assigned Executive Communications clients, including ongoing research, editorial calendars, drafting posts, and analytics
  • Preparing for client Executive Interviews, where we come with a reporter’s mindset to extract ideas and information that we use in content and media relations work
  • Organizing Content Calendars and workflows, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Preparing call agendas, recaps and client reports.
  • Responding to clients as needed in a timely manner
  • Analyzing work to identify opportunities, adapt, and learn.

Contributing to reactive content assignments including tactics like:

  • Researching, drafting, and editing ghostwritten articles
  • Drafting press releases from materials shared by PR team
  • Preparing Creative Briefs for freelancers and editing as needed. The content team is the quality control only letting good content through the door

Contributing to Carve content initiatives including:

  • CarvedOut blog posts: ideation, drafting, editing
  • Carve website: optimization, updates, analytics
  • Carve newsletters: research, drafting, image creation
  • Carve social feeds: LinkedIn posts, analysis, optimization

Collaborate with external clients and internal co-workers to deliver good work, coach on content best practices, and contribute to a healthy company culture

Work with VP and Associate Content Director to streamline processes across the agency and create efficiencies

Be a student of the industry to help us grow and innovate

The ideal Associate Content Manager candidate:

  • 1-3 years marketing or communications experience
  • Strong writing/editing and project management skills. Really knows how to drive projects forward
  • Confidence in collaborating with senior-level executives, including startup founders and CEOs
  • Has at least experimented with AI (even better if you have opinions and tricks up your sleeve)
  • Is unafraid to try new tools or suggest ideas whenever we can have some fun (our tech stack includes Google Drive, Slack, Canva, Google Analytics, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Squarespace, Mailchimp, Keywords Everywhere, Shield for LinkedIn Analytics, CapCut, etc)
  • Loves being a connector across teams and ideas
  • Is fueled by curiosity
