Did you know Zapier has a team whose job is supporting AI Transformation leads inside client companies, and we’re getting ready to hire more?

Probably not. Until now, this has mostly lived in a few LinkedIn posts of mine and private conversations with beta customers.

Most folks know Zapier as a platform.
Or lately, as an AI orchestration layer.

That’s true.
But behind the scenes, this team is focused on the human side of AI adoption.

We hired Eric Mistry as the very first person to do this work (who’s been CRUSHING IT). And if you don’t want to take my word for how genuinely awesome and weirdly rare this role is, feel free to ask him.

This team partners directly with the people inside companies who are responsible for making AI actually land, including:
• Co-owning real KPIs (not vibes)
• Setting goals we’ve seen work in the wild
• Running internal hackathons and bootcamps
• Hosting office hours and one-on-one trainings
• Supporting executive business reviews
• Helping shape stories the C-suite can tell to boards, investors, customers, and their own teams

It’s one of the highest hiring bars we have at Zapier.

Because the role is a bit of a unicorn:
• Part AI enthusiast and builder
• Part educator and change enabler
• Part program manager
• Part tinkerer
• Part solutions engineer
• Part motivational speaker
• Fully “figure it out” energy

And the reason I’m sharing this now:

The demand for this kind of work is accelerating fast.
Which means we’re going to need way more supply.
