Video Librarian is looking for thoughtful, cinema-loving writers to join our team!
Video Librarian is a trusted film review resource for libraries, schools, and institutions. Our content goes beyond traditional critique: we emphasize how each film can support collection development, classroom use, and public programming.
We’re currently seeking Contributing Writers to create:
In-depth film reviews (primarily documentaries and independent films)
Articles on education, library programming, and edtech
This is a remote, freelance position ideal for writers with backgrounds in journalism, education, library science, or film studies. The amount of reviews or articles you take on each month is completely flexible, but contingent on your own speediness and strict adherence to deadlines. We offer $20 - $30 per review/article depending on experience.
