Now Hiring: UX Writer / Conversation Designer (LLM & AI Experience)

We’re currently looking for a UX Writer / Conversation Designer to support an exciting AI and LLM-focused initiative with a distributed product team. This is a remote, full-time contract opportunity (U.S. based) with an initial 6-month engagement extending through the end of the year and potential to extend beyond that.

If you love shaping how humans interact with AI systems and want to help define the voice, flow, and quality standards of conversational products, this role is worth a look.

💡 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a critical role in designing and refining conversational experiences for AI-powered products, ensuring responses are clear, helpful, and aligned with evolving writing guidelines.

Key areas of focus include:
• Designing conversational flows and mapping what users can accomplish within AI-driven experiences
• Writing and refining UX content and chat responses that align with product guidelines
• Owning evaluation frameworks for response quality and identifying patterns in conversational performance
• Partnering closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to bring AI experiences to life
• Creating ideal response examples, writing guidelines, and feedback frameworks for conversational systems
• Helping launch chat-based pilot programs and improving conversation quality across AI products

This role blends UX writing, conversation design, AI evaluation, and content strategy, making it ideal for someone excited about the evolving world of LLMs and conversational interfaces.

🎯 What We’re Looking For
• Experience in UX writing, conversation design, or content design for digital products
• Background working with AI, chatbots, IVR systems, or conversational interfaces
• Strong experience shaping UX-focused product content and writing guidelines
• Ability to evaluate and improve conversational responses at scale
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and marketing
• Bonus: Prompt engineering or LLM evaluation experience

A strong portfolio of conversational UX writing or CxD projects is required.
