With more than 50 years in snow business, Ski.com is proud to serve as the authority on mountain-specific vacation packages worldwide. Established in Aspen, Colorado in 1971 as S&L Travel Partners, Ski.com has since grown to become the world leader in ski travel with access to more than 120 of the most popular ski resort destinations in North America, Europe, Japan and South America. Our relationships throughout the travel industry run deep, and our Mountain Travel Experts are dedicated to delivering comprehensive trip-planning services to both end customers and travel advisors.
You’ll join the Marketing team and help plan, write, and improve content across three mountain-travel sites (Ski.com and two affiliated brands). The role is both strategic and hands-on: you’ll plan content, research keywords, write and refresh pages, and handle on-page SEO.
Write helpful trip content: destination and lodging pages, resort guides, trip-planning articles, on-page copy, plus blog posts.
Do keyword research: find what skiers are searching for and turn that into clear topics and briefs.
Optimize pages: set titles, meta descriptions, headings, alt text, and internal links.
Improve what exists: update older pages to lift rankings, CTR, and conversions; fill gaps with FAQs, comparisons, and itineraries.
Publish in the CMS: create and maintain pages, check formatting and accessibility, and keep things consistent with our brand standards.
2-3 years of professional writing experience (brand, agency, or media); a portfolio featuring travel/outdoor, or ski content is strongly preferred.
SEO writing skills: can translate a keyword set + intent into a clear outline and compelling copy.
A proven portfolio: please share 2–4 writing samples. Bonus if you can note your role in the SEO approach.
Working knowledge of on-page SEO (metadata, headings, internal links, image optimization) and content performance basics (GA4, GSC).
Strong research, organization, and deadline management; comfortable balancing priorities across multiple brands.
Familiarity with a modern CMS
Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
Paid time off
401(k) with company match
Health and wellness credit

Salary: $48,000 – $60,000 DOE.
