Technical Writer

Basata is looking for a motivated Technical Writer to join our growing team and help transform complex ideas into clear, impactful documentation.

What you'll do:

• Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical concepts and procedures.
• Creating clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation, including guides, manuals, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Translating complex technical information into easily understandable language for diverse audiences, including end-users and technical staff.
• Organizing and maintaining documentation repositories, ensuring accessibility and version control.
• Editing and proofreading technical documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve documentation based on user needs.
• Staying updated with technological changes and updates to ensure documentation remains relevant and up-to-date.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technical or IT environment.
• Strong proficiency in writing clear and concise technical documentation.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Confluence, Markdown).
• Excellent editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to organize and present information logically.
