Technical Investment Writer
Old Mutual Investment GroupWe're growing our team. And I'm looking for someone quite specific.
A technical investment writer who understands markets, asset management and investing — and who genuinely loves the craft of writing.
Someone who can sit with an investment professional, understand the thinking, interrogate the argument, find what matters and turn it into something clear, intelligent and worth reading.
The ideal person will likely have experience or exposure across investment markets, economics, financial journalism or institutional asset management. A background that has taught you how to understand markets, ask intelligent questions, challenge an argument and turn complex thinking into compelling insight.
We are looking for someone comfortable with investment philosophy, market cycles, economics, portfolio thinking, asset classes and the ideas shaping capital markets, markedly different from personal finance.
You need curiosity. Judgement. Initiative. A strong point of view about quality. And the ability to work without waiting to be told what to do next.
We want people in our team who want to shine, raise the standard and do work they are genuinely proud of.
We're open to freelance or permanent for the right person.
Can you think like an investor and write like a writer?
I'd love to hear from you.
