What exactly is strategy?
It’s arguably one of the most overused — and misunderstood — words in the corporate world. From CEOs to fresh grads, everyone has something to say about it.
Personally? I’ve often described “strategy” as a fancy word bandied around by the ignorant to impress the unsuspecting.
Long PowerPoints. Technical jargon. Frameworks for the sake of frameworks. Plenty of detail, very little clarity — and often, it’s just internal bias dressed up as insight.
At The Hook Creative Agency, we take a different view.
To us, strategy is simple: what works.
It’s about deeply understanding the real problems our clients face, what their consumers truly need — and how to help the consumers make meaningful progress. That’s it.
And when it works, it really works.
