Story / Writing Consultant

At Shiny Shoe we are seeking an experienced story and writing consultant to contract with us to craft our next original game after Monster Train 2. The ideal candidate has experience shipping games, has worked on titles that are gameplay-led, and are adaptable in the face of changes as the game is iterated on. We have the core concept and world defined and are seeking help fleshing it out further. Specifically: refining our narrative outline into a maximally compelling story arc, writing dialogue and lore, and generating best practices for the rest of our content team to follow.
