đ¨JOURNALISM JOBS ALERTđ¨
Quartz is starting an exciting new chapter. Weâll have more to share about that later. For now, Iâm coming here to do one of my favorite things: hire journalists!
Three new jobs just posted. All fully remote. These roles reflect some of the areas weâre investing in as we build the next phase of Quartz journalism.
Weâre hiring an experienced and talented Senior Reporter to join our newsroom covering U.S. business news. Weâre particularly interested in candidates with an established and impressive body of work covering the worlds of AI and tech. This is not a daily news job. Itâs an opportunity for a journalist with significant experience in high-impact business and tech features to double down and focus almost exclusively on deep enterprise reporting.
Weâre also looking for another ambitious and hungry reporter. This is also not a daily news job. Itâs an opportunity for a journalist with experience in the fast-paced world of daily business news who is ready to take on high-impact features and enterprise reporting.
Weâre hiring a systems-minded editor to help lead innovative tech-enabled newsroom operations. This role is a unique opportunity for a journalist who understands how to build and manage editorial workflows that integrate new technologies into the publishing process. Weâre looking for someone who sees where the media industry is going â and wants to get there first. Must work East Coast hours, and likely at least some early-bird shifts. While this is initially a full-time contract/freelance position, the successful candidate will turn it into a fast-track to a staff job.

*This is a remote opportunity open to those located in, and legally eligible to work in, the U.S.*
