Sports Writer

PFSN is looking for writers! Multiple positions available:

- NFL Team Specific Writers
- CBB and WCBB Newsroom Writers
- NBA and WNBA Newsroom Writers

What is a Team Specific NFL Writer? Simple enough, a writer dedicated to covering an NFL team with which they are most familiar. This 1099 (contractor) position is ideal for those looking to get their foot in the door in the sports media industry or for experienced writers seeking to supplement their current income.

Payment for all roles is based on an RPM share, and writers are encouraged to publish at least five articles daily to maximize earnings. Only 2-3 writers will be chosen for each team.

Responsibilities will include taking ownership of the team, learning and effectively using PFSN’s CMS, and producing content without mistakes or factual inaccuracies.

Preference will be given to those with a strong understanding of SEO and the topics that work best in Google Discover and related recommendation platforms. Experience using audience-driven tools such as Google Trends is a plus, showing a clear ability to identify exactly what the audience wants to read.
