Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, creativity, and the opportunity to grow alongside a product that’s scaling globally. The Social Media Manager will oversee the daily operations and strategy of PAYVA’s social media platforms, including creating engaging content, developing content strategies, and optimising social media presence. Additionally, this role involves analysing performance metrics, managing audience engagement, and ensuring consistent branding across all channels. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will also be integral to support marketing goals.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Build, grow, and manage the company’s online communities across social media, forums, and other digital platforms.
  • Create engaging, story-driven content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage posts and audience engagement across the company’s social media pages.
  • Highlight customer stories and clearly communicate product benefits.
  • Nurture an active, loyal community of users.
  • Contribute to broader content marketing efforts by creating written content, including website blog/vlog posts, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Support brand growth by identifying and collaborating with relevant partners (brands, creators, and communities) to co-create authentic promotional content.
  • Manage and maintain partner relationships to ensure long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Track and report on social media metrics (growth, engagement, sentiment) and recommend improvements.
  • Stay up to date with fintech, cross-border payments, and digital community trends to continuously improve our engagement strategy.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Expertise in Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimisation (SMO), and audience engagement strategies.
  • Proven experience managing brand pages and growing communities across multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in Content Strategy and Writing.
  • Strong storytelling and content creation skills, with a portfolio to showcase.
  • Familiarity with fintech and cross-border payment services, finance or high-growth digital products is preferred and a strong advantage
  • Analytical skills to measure social media performance and identify trends. Data-driven mindset and ability to optimise campaigns for measurable results.
  • Exceptional Communication skills, including verbal and written proficiency.
