We’re looking for a creative, driven, and data-informed content and social media manager who can create content that stops the scroll, drives traffic, and generates growth—especially on Instagram, with expansion into Facebook and Pinterest.
This is a role for someone who’s just as passionate about visuals and storytelling as they are about testing, learning, and optimizing based on what actually performs. You’ll be responsible for creating content, images, CTAs, and visuals that are highly compelling, strategically aligned, and designed to help us stand out in a crowded wellness space.You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll collaborate with a team member who helps map out monthly content themes, sales pushes, and strategic direction—so you can focus on execution, creativity, and results. We also have a robust video and audio podcast that provides a constant stream of high-quality material to work from.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution

  1. Create weekly social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest, using a mix of reels, video, and static graphics.
  2. Write scroll-stopping captions and strong CTAs that drive engagement and action
  3. Repurpose content from our video/audio podcast into compelling short-form clips, quotes, carousels, and highlights
  4. Build visually stunning, on-brand assets
  5. Use research-backed strategies for hashtag selection, visual layout, and storytelling

Optimization & Performance

  1. Track and report key metrics weekly (reach, engagement, growth, saves, shares, link clicks, etc.)
  2. Use insights to make ongoing recommendations for what content formats or messages are performing best
  3. Continuously test and refine post timing, visual styles, copy, and layout to boost performance
  4. Offer creative input on how we can improve visibility, supplement sales, and overall brand growth

Collaboration & Communication

  1. Communicate clearly and regularly with the internal team via Slack and email
  2. Participate in team meetings and check-ins
  3. Work closely with our internal strategist who outlines monthly content direction and campaign priorities
  4. Ask thoughtful questions, stay responsive, and contribute ideas freely

Required Skills & Tools

  1. Proven content creation experience for Instagram (reels, static, carousels, etc.)
  2. Strong writing and storytelling skills with excellent grammar
  3. Ability to edit and repurpose podcast/video content
  4. Familiarity with Meta Business Suite / Meta Scheduler (open to other scheduling tools)
  5. Basic understanding of Pinterest and repurposing for that platform
  6. Solid understanding of what makes content convert—especially in the wellness or e-commerce space

$34-38/hour depending on experience
