🎉 I'm hiring a paid Social Media & Content Intern for Off Script.

Off Script is a card game for people who hate small talk at work. Pre-launch, solo founder, building in public.

Just me over here. So this won't feel like a big company internship. It'll feel like building something real, not shadowing someone.

What I'm looking for: someone who lives on Instagram, gets what stops a scroll, can shoot and edit, and writes captions that sound like a human wrote them. Bonus if you're genuinely curious about career and professional culture content.

You'd own Instagram and Pinterest. Feed posts, Reels, Stories, Pinterest content, and a brand voice that sits at the intersection of career, culture, and real talk.

About Off Script

Most professional conversations are stuck on repeat. Same questions, same awkward silences, same forgettable exchanges. Off Script is the card game for people who are over it.

150 questions across 6 categories that skip the surface and get to conversations worth having. For networking events, team offsites, coffee chats. Anywhere the usual script isn't cutting it.

We're bootstrapped, founder-led, and building in public. Pre-launch, growing fast, and more interesting to work on before everyone knows about it. This role is an early seat at the table.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, self-directed content creator to own Off Script's Instagram presence and support Pinterest. This is not a task-execution role. You'll be building a brand voice and visual identity from the ground up with real product in hand.

The founder will set the strategic framework: content pillars, brand guardrails, and direction. Your job is to take that foundation and make it come alive. You'll have room to pitch ideas, experiment with formats, and bring creative instincts that strategy alone can't plan for.

Think of it as a true collaboration: the strategy is set, the creative is yours.

What You'll Own

Content Creation

  • Create 3x/week Instagram content: a mix of statics, Reels, and carousels
  • Write captions in Off Script's voice: direct, conversational, never corporate
  • Repurpose Instagram assets into Pinterest pins on an ongoing basis
  • Experiment with formats: question callouts, networking hot takes, career advice, product storytelling, relatable professional moments
  • Create and publish Instagram Stories to support feed content and drive engagement
  • Submit content for approval before anything goes live

Trend & Landscape Awareness

  • Stay current on what's working in professional, career, and lifestyle content on Instagram
  • Bring ideas and inspo to the founder regularly. What's trending, what's overdone, where the opportunity is.
  • Identify content angles that feel native to the space, not forced
  • Use performance signals to inform what to do more of and bring that thinking to content planning

Community & Scheduling

  • Manage scheduling and publishing across Instagram and Pinterest
  • Monitor and respond to comments to build real audience connection
  • Engage with similar accounts and communities authentically

What We're Looking For

  • You have an active Instagram presence or have created content for a brand, project, or cause. Any niche, any size.
  • You understand what stops a scroll and can execute on it
  • You're comfortable shooting and editing short-form video (CapCut, InShot, or similar)
  • You get the professional and career content space, or are genuinely curious about it.
  • You're self-directed, responsive, and take feedback and run with it
  • You write well and can adapt your voice to match a brand's tone
  • You're excited about building something from the ground up


No specific degree required. Portfolio matters more than credentials.

Logistics

  • Part-time, remote. Approximately 8-10 hours per week.
  • $16-20/hour depending on experience.
  • Start date: May/June 2026
  • Duration: 3 months with potential to extend based on performance
  • You'll receive a physical Off Script deck to work with
