Company: Neustack
Type: Remote · Nigeria-based · Contract
Probation: Three months
Pay: ₦100,000–₦150,000/month, plus up to ₦20,000 monthly data and convenience allowance where required

The role in one line

Join Neustack to run the day-to-day content and social media operations for one primary client account, while supporting Neustack and selected client projects as needed.

What this role actually requires

We need someone sharp, dependable and digitally fluent who can take scattered photos, event notes, voice notes and rough ideas and turn them into consistent, accurate and well-written content.

Your primary responsibility will be managing one high-priority public affairs account. Most of your time will go into keeping its content supply, publishing schedule, approvals and account presentation running properly.

You will also support Neustack’s own content and other client accounts when required.

What you will do

  • Maintain social profiles across Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn, ensuring names, titles, bios, images and account details remain accurate and consistent.
  • Plan, write, prepare and schedule approximately 8–16 posts each month for the primary account.
  • Work closely with the client’s office to collect photos, videos, event information and other content every week.
  • Follow up proactively when material is delayed or incomplete and flag content shortages before they become publishing problems.
  • Turn rough notes and source material into clear captions written in the correct voice.
  • Support Neustack with social posts, announcements, project updates and selected client content.
  • Repurpose existing material and develop evergreen content during quieter weeks.
  • Draft congratulatory, condolence and commemorative posts using verified information.
  • Carry out light photo and short-video editing using Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
  • Draft a short monthly commentary or website article where required.
  • Monitor comments and direct messages, flagging sensitive issues without responding beyond the approved mandate.
  • Manage approvals carefully and understand what can be cleared immediately and what requires escalation.
  • Prepare a simple monthly report covering output, reach, performance and recommended adjustments.

What good performance looks like

You do not wait to be chased.

You notice when information is missing, follow up, verify names and titles, catch mistakes before publishing and keep the content calendar moving even when the source material is imperfect.

You can receive a folder of untidy photos, a two-line event description and a voice note, then turn them into something clear, useful and publishable.

You understand that using AI is not the same as having judgment. You can use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar tools to work faster, but you know how to rewrite weak output and remove obvious AI language.

Must-haves

  • Strong written English and the ability to write clearly in both professional and conversational registers.
  • Good judgment with names, titles, facts, tone and politically or culturally sensitive material.
  • Comfortable using Canva and short-video editing tools such as CapCut.
  • Practical fluency with AI tools and the discipline to edit their output properly.
  • Organised, responsive and able to work without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable following up with busy people and pushing politely for what you need.
  • Reliable laptop, internet connection and a plan for power or network interruptions.
  • Discretion when handling client information and administrative access.

Strong advantages

  • Familiarity with Anambra, South-East Nigerian culture, politics, community life and public titles.
  • Experience managing a public figure, organisation, founder or brand account.
  • Basic Figma ability.
  • Strong instincts for internet culture, social formats and what makes a post feel current without becoming unserious.
  • Interest in growing into broader content strategy, client management or creative operations.

Pay and progression

The role starts at ₦100,000/month during the three-month probation period.

Following a successful probation review, compensation may increase toward ₦150,000/month, based on reliability, writing quality, initiative and the ability to take ownership of the work.

An additional allowance of up to ₦20,000/month may be provided for data and work-related convenience needs.
