I'm hiring at Hello Social Co., and it's a role different from my typical hires.
I don't need another marketer or content creator right now. I need the exceptionally organized person behind the scenes who genuinely enjoys checklists, calendars, systems and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
The primary responsibility will be scheduling content created by the Hello Social Co. team across several client accounts. I'd also love to rely on this person for the administrative tasks that inevitably pop up when you're running a small business.
The position will begin at about 15 hours per week, with room to grow as our agency and needs evolve.
If this sounds like you, or someone immediately came to mind, I'd be grateful for a share or introduction.

Hello Social Co. is a social-first marketing agency that helps communities, destinations, nonprofits and businesses tell stories that bring people together. Through thoughtful strategy, content creation and creative campaigns, we help our clients connect with the people they serve.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a highly organized assistant who can keep client content moving and provide flexible administrative support to our small, remote team.
The Social Media & Administrative Assistant is a detail-focused support role. The primary responsibility is scheduling and publishing social media content created by the Hello Social Co. team across multiple client accounts.
This person will also help with the everyday administrative work that keeps the agency organized. Assignments may shift from week to week depending on client needs and team priorities. The right person will be comfortable following established processes, switching between tasks and asking good questions when something is unclear.
This is not primarily a content creation, design or strategy role. Success looks like accurate work, dependable follow-through and fewer details falling through the cracks.
The primary function of this role is managing the scheduling and publishing process for client social media content. Depending on the client roster, this may include coordinating dozens of posts each week across multiple brands.
Administrative assignments will vary. They may be recurring responsibilities or one-time tasks that help a team member or client project move forward. Examples include:
The strongest candidate will genuinely enjoy organization, routine follow-through and behind-the-scenes work. You do not need to be the person dreaming up every idea. You do need to be the person who can be trusted to handle the details.
You are someone who:
Experience with social media scheduling platforms, Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace and Airtable is helpful. Familiarity with Canva is a bonus, but design and video editing are not central responsibilities of this role.
This role begins as a part-time opportunity with approximately 15 hours of work per week expected at the onset at a rate of $23 per hour. The mix of scheduling and administrative work may change as Hello Social Co.’s client roster and internal needs evolve. Over time, this person may take ownership of additional systems or recurring support tasks based on their strengths and the needs of the agency. The role is intended to grow in responsibility without assuming that it must become a creative or strategy position. This is a fully remote role, however we do welcome the occasional opportunity to get together as a team IRL in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania.
We’re a small team that believes meaningful work starts with meaningful relationships. We value curiosity, collaboration, flexibility and continuous learning. We care deeply about our clients and the communities they serve, and we believe the best work happens when talented people support one another.
If you’re someone who finds satisfaction in bringing order to creative work, keeping a team organized and being the reliable person behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
