We will soon be hiring an SEO Strategist at Timmermann Group.
But let me be very clear about something first.
This role is not for someone who wants to learn SEO.
It’s for someone who already knows how to do SEO.
Real story.
We’ve gone through several SEO Strategists recently who passed our interview process.
They even completed a paid project as part of the evaluation.
But once they were in the role…
They struggled to actually execute strategy level SEO work.
So what happens next?
Instead of doing the strategic work required…
They start grasping for anything they can do to maintain employment as long as possible.
Random activity.
Surface level tasks.
Busy work.
That’s not SEO strategy.
At Timmermann Group, SEO Strategists must be able to:
• Identify the real ranking opportunities
• Build the strategy to win those keywords
• Direct the execution required to get there
• And measure the impact on revenue
Because around here our philosophy is simple:
Conversions. Not Diversions.
So consider this advanced notice.
If you are a true SEO Strategist who already knows how to do the work, I’d love to connect.
One more thing.
This role is hybrid.
We work remotely day to day, but we have several in-person team meetings each year at our headquarters in St. Louis.
If you can actually do SEO strategy…
This could be a great opportunity.
If you’re still learning SEO…
This probably isn’t the role for you.
