The Job
We are looking for a smart and creative SEO, GEO & Content Strategist to help us serve our B2B clients in Software/SaaS, Fintech, Cybersecurity, and other Technology sectors. This is a remote, full-time position; the ideal candidate will be located in the U.S., Canada, or Latin America.
Our Strategists help clients rethink their marketing strategies in order to achieve groundbreaking organic marketing results.
Applicants for the SEO, GEO & Content Strategist position should be positive, highly-motivated, and creative, with a strong work ethic. If you’re awesome like this, and you’re into nerdy stuff like internal linking, LLM query fan-out analysis, and the application of neuroscience to marketing, you should apply.
Requirements + Responsibilities
- 3+ years professional experience in organic growth marketing (SEO, GEO, CRO, content marketing, etc.)
- Lead and execute the day-to-day management of client accounts
- Develop SEO strategies, including site analysis, competitor analysis, topic research, on-page SEO, and authority building
- Develop GEO strategies, including structured data, structured content, conversational query alignment, and offsite strategies
- Analyze organic search traffic, keyword ranking, and lead gen performance
- Analyze LLM brand visibility and citations
- Develop effective content strategies
- Create and manage content calendars and content briefs
- Build out campaigns based on the strategies you develop
- Use data analysis to build reports and deliver insight beyond standard online reporting
- Exceptional project management skills; manage projects from start to finish; keep everyone on track; meet deadlines; etc.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, copywriters, developers, designers, etc. and keep everyone on schedule while delivering beautiful work
- Ability to work autonomously, research issues, and formulate solutions
- A desire to solve tough marketing problems, drive success for clients, and work in a fun, creative, collaborative environment
- Good, positive, driven, self-starting, initiative-seizing attitude
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidence leading meetings and presenting to groups of people
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential challenges and continually bring new ideas to help improve client results
- Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Frase, Clearscope, Scrunch, Profound, or similar types of tools
- Ability to make clients smile
