The Retail SEO Copywriter is an expert in Retail Marketplace SEO with a focus on Amazon and the strategies it takes to increase organic rank in Amazonās A9 algorithm and increasing presence of Rufus/COSMO. They are responsible for keyword research, copywriting, and bringing the unique selling point of our clientās brand to life via the copy they write for Amazon product detail pages.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Using industry standard Keyword Research tools (e.g. Data Dive, Helium10) to conduct competitor research and identify organic ranking opportunities
Understanding the fundamentals of Amazon SEO and how search terms drive improved organic indexing and rank
Ability to understand the core value propositions of a brand based on the research of our strategy team, and write copy that aligns with the brand positioning
Craft engaging, brand-aligned copy for the listing (titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords)
Receive internal and client feedback and efficiently update copy according to that feedback
Contribute to a collaborative team culture, including engaged contribution to team calls and process improvement based on your experience in the role
Qualifications
Benchmarks Required for this Role:
Familiarity working across Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon International and Walmart, particularly for content updates and SEO
Deep familiarity with Amazon SEO tools including Helium10, DataDive, Zonguru, or similar.
Expert in clear and timely written and verbal communication, particularly with internal account managers
Dependable and timely completion of work in line with task and projects deadlines
Expert in high-quality delivery of responsibilities incorporating Acadia best practices and industry expertise
Demonstrated ability to work well with others including navigating challenges and obstacles
