We are looking for a detail-oriented, empathetic, and creative Content Manager to join the Lantern team.

In this role, you will be responsible for getting SEO content published, managing every step of the process: from initial briefing of the content, to project managing writers, incorporating client feedback and  publishing content on a live webpage.

You understand that striking a balance between storytelling and SEO is an art not a science, and will ensure that every piece we produce both drives organic growth and reflects our clients’ high brand standards.

This is the perfect role for an experienced writer/editor or project management professional interested in upleveling their SEO and content development skills while helping some of the world’s best health and wellness startups grow through organic content.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the relationship — and occasional trade-offs — between SEO optimization, storytelling, and branding
  • Organize and manage content creation projects from the ground up in Asana, creating project plans that reflect each stages of content creation process, from briefing, to writing, editing, and final publication
  • Edit drafts of SEO articles, checking for quality, ensuring adherence to the client’s brand, and — where applicable — clinical guidelines
  • Gain a working understanding of the client’s CMS, and how that informs the formatting of Lantern’s copy deliverables
  • Source on-brand images for articles, searching across the client’s internal asset folders and platforms like Unsplash and Pexels

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Health and wellness brand experience preferred, but not required

Who you are

  • Client service-oriented and able to manage client expectations effectively
  • You can switch between a telescope and microscope: zooming out to see the big picture, and then focusing in on the executional details
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong project management skills
  • Passionate about storytelling and understands the power of a well-crafted narrative; you have pride of work, and are not satisfied with releasing sub-par content
