We are looking for an SEO & GEO Manager to own Buildern’s organic growth across both traditional search and emerging AI-driven discovery channels. This role will lead Buildern’s visibility in search engines like Google and also optimize how Buildern appears inside AI answer engines such as OpenAI, Perplexity AI, and other generative search platforms.
The SEO & GEO Manager will work closely with content, marketing, product, and development teams to build a long-term organic growth engine that drives qualified traffic, improves authority, and increases free trial signups.
What you will do:
- Own and execute Buildern’s SEO strategy to increase organic traffic, rankings, and qualified inbound leads
- Build and improve content strategies across blog, landing pages, help center, comparison pages, and product content
- Lead GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) initiatives so Buildern performs well in AI-powered search and answer engines
- Conduct keyword research based on customer intent, product demand, and market opportunities
- Identify high-value content gaps and work with writers to produce content that ranks and converts
- Improve internal linking, page structure, metadata, schema, and technical SEO performance
- Run technical SEO audits and partner with developers to fix crawl, indexing, speed, and site health issues
- Develop backlink and authority-building strategies through partnerships, mentions, and digital PR
- Analyze competitor search strategies and identify opportunities Buildern can win
- Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and organic pipeline impact, then turn findings into action
What you will bring:
- 3–5 years of SEO experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, content SEO, and authority building
- Experience improving rankings in competitive software categories
- Familiarity with GEO or strong curiosity about optimizing for AI discovery systems
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to connect SEO work to business outcomes
- Excellent English writing and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and move ideas into execution
