Lead the next generation of SEO — optimising for both traditional search and AI-powered discovery.

HiCareer is helping a remote-first B2B SaaS company hire an SEO & Content Specialist to take ownership of their inbound growth. The company builds a workflow automation platform used by 300+ mid-sized businesses, and is doubling down on content as a key acquisition channel. They want someone who understands that SEO is evolving — and knows how to optimise for both Google’s SERPs and AI-powered search assistants.

This role blends strategy, execution, and experimentation. You’ll combine keyword research and competitor analysis with generative AI tools to produce, enhance, and repurpose content at speed — without sacrificing quality or accuracy.


🎯 What You'll Work On

You’ll design and run an SEO programme built for today’s search landscape.

  • Conduct keyword research for both traditional SEO and AI-assisted search visibility
  • Plan and produce content — blog posts, landing pages, and guides — using generative AI to support research and drafting
  • Optimise existing pages for higher rankings and AI snippet inclusion
  • Build and maintain a keyword/content performance dashboard
  • Collaborate with designers and product marketers to produce on-brand, high-value assets

🚀 Your First 6 Months

You’ll be expected to make measurable improvements quickly while laying the foundation for long-term growth.

  • Audit current SEO performance and AI-search visibility; identify top opportunities
  • Launch a quarterly content calendar blending evergreen and trending topics
  • Optimise 10+ high-potential pages for both search rankings and AI summarisation
  • Increase organic traffic and AI-search impressions in target markets

✅ What We're Looking For

You’re someone who knows SEO is shifting — and you’re already working at the intersection of AI and content.

  • 2–4 years of experience in SEO and content marketing
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for content research, drafting, or optimisation
  • Understanding of AI-driven search behaviour (Google SGE, Bing Copilot, ChatGPT plugins)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
  • Bonus: experience in B2B SaaS or working in a remote-first team

  • Fully remote within CET ±3h
  • Small, collaborative marketing team working closely with product and sales
  • Autonomy to test and learn, with leadership buy-in for innovation in SEO
