You would act as the engine behind the SEO & Content team — freeing up the leads to focus on strategy and client relationships. Your day-to-day operational excellence of the SEO function — ensuring client deliverables are timely, team utilization is optimized, and processes are standardized for scalability and profitability.
What You’ll Do
- Delivery Operations
- Own the project delivery calendar across all SEO accounts.
- Ensure timelines, quality benchmarks, and delivery SLAs are consistently met.
- Coordinate across SEO, content, and PPC to ensure integrated execution.
- Conduct weekly delivery standups and track blockers.
- Resource & Workflow Management
- Track team bandwidth and utilization to prevent overload or idle time.
- Manage allocation of tasks between SEO leads, specialists, and freelancers.
- Maintain a live operations tracker / dashboard for visibility
- Process & Quality
- Create and enforce SOPs for keyword research, on-page audits, reporting, etc.
- Standardize documentation and naming conventions across teams.
- Conduct monthly QA audits of deliverables.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly operations dashboards:
- Delivery completion rate
- Client SLA adherence
- Resource utilization
- Performance summaries for leadership
- Partner with the finance team to map delivery data to P&L insights.
- People & Culture
- Support performance reviews and PIP tracking for SEO specialists.
- Drive discipline in team communication and documentation.
- Coordinate internal training sessions with the CoE team.
Who You Are
- Experience: 5–8 years total; 2–3 years in agency or digital operations.
- Background: SEO / marketing operations, project management, or client delivery.
- Skills: Process design, people management, reporting, analytics, task systems (Asana/ClickUp), and communication.
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, disciplined, proactive problem solver, strong in follow-through.
- Tools: Excel/Sheets, Looker Studio, Gantt tools, SEO familiarity (Ahrefs, GSC, etc.)
