We’re hiring: Senior YouTube & Social Content Producer for The Moment, our weekly video podcast.
This is a remote, full-time role based in the United States for a bilingual producer — English/Spanish, with native English fluency — who understands YouTube, social platforms, audience behavior, and the political landscape in the U.S.
At Radio Ambulante Studios, we’ve spent more than a decade producing award-winning audio journalism for Latin American and U.S. Latinx audiences. Now, with The Moment, we’re expanding into a new video-first format — and we’re looking for someone who can help us build the content engine behind it.
This role is for someone who can take each episode and turn it into a complete platform-native content package: YouTube programming, clips, social assets, publishing, testing, iteration, and performance analysis.
We’re looking for someone who combines:
-A nuanced understanding of U.S. politics
-Strong editorial judgment
-A sharp understanding of YouTube and social growth
-Fast, independent decision-making
-Technical and analytical confidence
- The ability to move from strategy to execution without waiting for handoffs
This is a high-output, ownership-heavy role. You’ll work closely with the Executive Producer and Lead Producer, but you’ll independently manage the pipeline from episode to distribution.
If you’re excited by the challenge of building a YouTube and social content system for an ambitious journalistic project, we’d love to hear from you.

Context
At Radio Ambulante Studios, we’ve spent years producing stories with care. With The Moment our weekly video podcast, we’re building something that depends on more than production: a system where stories move across platforms — audio, YouTube, and social — and reach audiences in different ways.
The Role
The Senior YouTube & Social Content Producer is responsible for turning each episode of The Moment into a complete set of platform-native content, from initial selection through publishing and iteration.
This is a high-output role that combines programming, packaging, and execution, where you will need to make decisions quickly and act on them without waiting for others.
This role combines editorial judgment with a deep understanding of how content performs on YouTube and across social platforms, and requires a nuanced understanding of U.S. politics
This role operates as a single-threaded content system. The expectation is not just strong output, but the ability to make and act on decisions quickly without handoffs.
You will work with the Executive Producer and Lead Producer to align on priorities and receive assets, but you will independently manage the content pipeline from episode to distribution.
