Senior SEO Strategist

Looking for a passionate SEO with minimum 4 years of agency experience to lead our team in driving powerful results for our clients.

Pay: £27-35k/year DOE 

Hours: Part-time, 15-20 hours/week

(full time may be offered to the right candidate)

Location: Remote, European time zone

ABOUT OUR TEAM

Our agency was founded with the mission of providing working mums with a flexible job that works for them. We’re a fun, lively group of 21 women where everyone works remotely and part-time. While this job is not limited to working mums, feel free to mention in your application why the flexibility would suit you.

We’re based in Israel, so you must work in the Israel/European/British time zone with at least some of your hours being done during the morning.

Our team consists of SEO specialists, content writers, technical and local SEO experts, and a project manager. You will step in as the most senior SEO strategist, together with the founder of the agency.

THE ROLE

Your core objective is to ensure that each client is getting the maximum outcome from our SEO campaigns. This includes optimizing our strategies for each client as well as improving our internal workflows and tool stack to maximise the team's effectiveness and efficiency. You will not be directly managing the team, but will be involved in training and reviewing as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will include:

Creating and regularly reviewing SEO strategies for each client

Analyzing the impact of our work and adjusting our work plan accordingly

Creating reports explaining the impact of our work for our clients.

Regularly reviewing our processes to
ensure they are up to date with the
latest developments in SEO

Introducing new tools and systems to streamline our processes so the team work more effectively and efficiently

Holding team training sessions
and answering SEO questions to
help upskill the rest of the team

Note that implementing the SEO will not be the focus of this role, but you will be asked
to occasionally review the work of the team for quality and training purposes.

The role may evolve to include handling sales calls, please note in your application
if you would be comfortable with that and have any particular experience in this area.

• Explain complicated topics with clarity both verbally and in writing, so that others can follow your instructions and SOPs easily
• Love analyzing the data and revealing actionable insights (and then assigning those actions to get done!)
• Keep track of multiple clients yet still give each one your full attention
• Manage your time well and easily meet deadlines

Requirements

4+ years of agency experience creating and running SEO campaigns for multiple industries. *Agency experience is a must*

Strong experience in SEO for lead gen websites, eCommerce SEO is a plus but not required

Must be an expert in on-page SEO strategy and local SEO (particularly for businesses with multiple locations). Expertise in other areas of SEO is a strong plus.

You must be extremely proficient in using the following tools: Semrush or alternatives, GA, GSC, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog

Experience in researching and incorporating new tools and software to streamline SEO processes and get better results
