Job Description

We’re looking for a strategic, curious, and client-savvy Senior SEO Specialist to join our fully remote team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has already developed solid SEO expertise, has a strong understanding of AI Search and is ready to expand their role in shaping strategy, collaborating directly with clients, and making data-informed recommendations.

You’ll still get your hands dirty in topics-based keyword research, site audits, performance tracking, and data analysis. But in this role, you’ll also be expected to confidently present your findings, make recommendations, and serve as a trusted voice to our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and execute modern SEO strategies tailored to client goals and business priorities.
• Conduct technical audits and on-page reviews to uncover optimization opportunities.
• Perform keyword research, content audits, and gap analyses to support content strategy development to win share for topics that clients care most about.
• Use tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC, Adobe Analytics, GA-4 and AI Search Visibility platforms to uncover insights and measure success
• Create clear, actionable deliverables; from strategy decks to optimization briefs and reporting summaries.
• Present findings and recommendations directly to clients via virtual meetings and written communications.
• Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices including the evolving landscape of AI-driven search results.
• Apply working knowledge of AI Search environments like Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and others to craft strategies that keep clients ahead.
• Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for competitive analysis, ideation, and content refinement.

You’re Probably a Match If You Have

• 5-8 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency, consultancy, or client-side).
• Strong proficiency in tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and enterprise data analytics platforms (Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics).
• Familiarity with content strategy development and technical SEO implementation.
• A strong grasp of how AI search engines (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) are reshaping SEO and how to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Experience in presenting strategy and findings to clients or senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, including strong PowerPoint/Google Slides capabilities.
• A self-directed, proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
• A working knowledge of generative AI tools and their application in modern SEO.
