Senior SEO Specialist / Consultant

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior SEO Specialist / Consultant who loves digging into the details and finding creative ways to make great websites perform even better.

At Opensense, we help organizations turn everyday email into a powerful channel for brand consistency, compliance, and engagement. In this role, you’ll take the lead on uncovering opportunities across our site—making pages faster, smarter, and easier to find. From tightening up metadata to improving technical performance, you’ll help us show up where it matters most.

You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to ensure our content, site structure, and search presence truly reflect the value of our platform—and help us stand out from the crowd. This role blends hands-on SEO work with thoughtful analysis, creative problem-solving, and a genuine curiosity about how search can drive real growth.

What You’ll Do

• Audit our entire website to uncover technical, structural, and content optimization opportunities.
• Improve page performance, metadata, schema markup, and on-page SEO to boost visibility and click-throughs.
• Research keywords and competitors to help shape our content strategy.
• Partner with marketing to ensure our pages, campaigns, and blog content align with search intent and brand voice.
• Identify quick wins that deliver measurable results while building a long-term roadmap for continued growth.
• Set up simple, transparent dashboards in GA4 and Search Console, so we can track progress together.
• Keep us up to date on the latest SEO best practices and algorithm trends—then translate them into real action.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of proven SEO experience, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
• Deep expertise with technical SEO, site architecture, and structured data optimization.
• Hands-on proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and PageSpeed Insights.
• Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimization best practices.
• Ability to translate complex SEO findings into clear recommendations and actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills—comfortable collaborating with marketing, design, and engineering.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS editing environments (i.e., Webflow)
• Understanding of SEO + PPC alignment for holistic search strategy.
• A proactive, detail-focused mindset and a passion for measurable improvement.

Position Details

• Contract (~8–12 weeks).
• Estimated ~ 15–25 hours/week
• Compensation range: $60 – $100 / hour (USD) depending on experience.
• Option to extend for ongoing optimization and reporting.
