About the role...

Crypto is confusing. Most crypto companies make it worse. We make it simple. We need someone who can do that with words.

We're talking about words that make people move. Words that turn a skeptic into a user and a user into a fan. Words that sell without sounding like they're selling.

You've been doing this long enough to know the difference between a headline that works and one that tries. You rewrite things in your head before you've finished reading them. You have opinions about punctuation. And you obsess over every word. 

If your best work could've been written by ChatGPT, this isn't the role. We want the person who knows what good looks like before the machine does.

What you'll be doing...

If it has words and it goes out with Breet's name on it, you wrote it or you approved it.

• Write and edit copy across every channel Breet touches
• Shape and protect Breet's tone of voice across all content
• Write for conversion. Write for clarity. Write for the 22-year-old in Lagos who gives you three seconds before scrolling past
• Collaborate with designers and marketers on campaigns, launches, and the odd fire drill
• Optimize copy for SEO without strangling the life out of it
• Review, rewrite, and retire content that stopped earning its keep
• Track what's working and kill what isn't. Then propose what comes next
• Stay current on how people read, share, and ignore things online

You, probably...

• You have a portfolio. A strong one. 
• You write in multiple registers. Playful at 10am, urgent at noon, technical by 3pm. All of it sounds like the same person wrote it
• Your grammar is tight. Your eye is sharper. You catch things spell-check misses
• You juggle projects without dropping any. Deadlines don't surprise you
• You fill gaps before someone points at them
• You're funny. Or at least, the people around you think so. We'll verify
