Now Hiring: Curriculum Writer (Contract/Remote)

Thirdmill is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create exceptional seminary curriculum for under-resourced pastors in every part of the world. Founded in 1997, Thirdmill has already trained more than 2,000,000 pastors and church leaders. As we look to expand our curriculum offerings, we are currently in search of additional contract writers.

Responsibilities:
• Research, outline, and write a series of lessons for Thirdmill’s seminary curriculum based on
Thirdmill’s curriculum needs and writer’s area of expertise
• Follow Thirdmill’s style guidelines to adhere closely with Thirdmill’s voice, structure, and
translation readiness
• Produce written curriculum specifically designed for video production
• Work closely with Thirdmill writers and editors to revise and finalize written content

Qualifications:
• Proven ability to write and produce content consistent with Thirdmill’s statement of faith
• Master’s or doctoral degree in theology, education, or related field
• Professional knowledge of content-specific subject area
• Outstanding written communication skills
• Teaching experience at the under-graduate or graduate level; seminary teaching experience in the content-specific subject area preferred
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute a series of lessons based on a given subject
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines as assigned
• Ability to write for an audience that includes students of varying educational backgrounds
• Willingness to learn and adhere to translation-ready writing techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word track changes and formatting tools
• Wrike experience is a plus

This is a remote contract position. Compensation will be determined by the scope of work.
