Looking for pitches! As investigations editor for the The Texas Observer, I've gotten to collaborate with our incredible staff as well as talented investigative journalists like Steven Monacelli, Jason Buch, Jesús Jank Curbelo and Candice Bernd. It's been a kick to team up with amazing reporters at other nonprofits, like Dylan Baddour and Martha Pskowski of Inside Climate News, René Kladzyk of Project On Government Oversight, Peter Barth of Bellingcat, and with independent journalists like Julie Poole and Sandy West. I've also worked with students and professors at Texas Christian, Northwestern and Columbia universities.
