About the Role
Perfectly Planned Content is a boutique fractional CMO and content marketing agency serving fee-only financial advisors and RIAs. We're looking for a detail-oriented Content Associate to support publishing, scheduling, and routine content execution across our client accounts. This is a part-time, flexible contractor role, ideal for someone who wants consistent, recurring work without the demands of a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Publishing & Scheduling
- Format and publish blog posts to client websites
- Schedule newsletters in Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and similar platforms
- Test newsletter and blog formatting before publication
- Manage social media scheduling with Hey Orca for our FCMO clients
- Schedule one-time holiday and event posts
- Monitor publishing schedules for accuracy
Operational & Administrative Support
- Input tasks, deadlines, and deliverables into our project management system (Monday.com)
- Track progress across client accounts
- Maintain organized content categories and posting cadence
- Assist with performance reporting and data gathering
Routine Social Content Execution
- Create a portion of monthly social graphics per client (voice and direction established by the Content Strategist)
- Write captions for social posts based on existing blog and newsletter content
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form social content
Client Communication
- Send routine project status updates
- Confirm receipt of client materials
- Schedule follow-up meetings
- Handle straightforward revision requests
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on deadlines
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and calendars simultaneously
- Experience with content publishing, scheduling, or social media coordination
- Familiarity with financial services, professional services, or another compliance-conscious industry is a plus, but not required
- Working knowledge of tools such as Mailchimp, Kit, Constant Contact, Hey Orca, Canva, or similar is helpful
- Clear, professional written communication
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently as a contractor
Role Evolution
This role is scoped as execution and coordination support today, but we're intentional about growth. As you build fluency with our clients, workflows, and voice, there's room to take on more client-facing responsibility over time, potentially evolving toward a Content Coordinator role with direct client communication and account ownership. Pace and scope depend on performance, fit, client retention, and business need, but this is a path we actively want to build with the right person.
What We Offer
- Flexible, remote, part-time contractor work
- Opportunity for increased hours as client accounts grow
- A defined path toward more client-facing responsibility for the right person
- Supportive team environment with an established agency workflow
