**This is a freelance, REMOTE position.**

DualShockers is looking for eager and talented News & Feature Article Contributors to join their team.

As a contributor, prospective applicants will assist with covering topics in the video game industry, editorializing important details about the covered games, and diving deep into a variety of video game communities. 

If you share a passion for video games, a love of writing, and a willingness to learn, we welcome you to apply!

Your Responsibilities 

• Consistently contribute news and feature articles to the site
• Pitch regular content and research popular games.
• Bring original topics and a plethora of gaming knowledge to the table.
• Research and source their topics proficiently.
• Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
• Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exquisite content.
• Contribute a minimum of 15 articles per month.

Experience and Skills

• Working experience in gaming journalism or a related field.
• Experience in producing gaming and related content.
• In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the gaming industry
• Experience with SEO practices.
• Experience with a custom CMS, preferred.
