Contract Type: Contract-to-hire

Contract Term: This role begins as a 6-month 1099 contract. Successful candidates may be offered a full-time position following the contract period.

Reports To: Brand Director

Compensation: During the contract period, compensation will be structured as a monthly 1099 retainer in the range of $10,000–$10,800, depending on experience. If the role transitions to full-time employment, the expected salary range is $120,000–$130,000 annually, plus benefits and performance-based incentives.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager who can lead marketing campaigns, manage creative contributors, and drive measurable growth across multiple channels.

This role is structured as an initial 6-month 1099 contract, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance and team needs. The contract period serves as a mutual evaluation phase as we look for a candidate interested in long-term growth with the team.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level marketing leader who can translate company vision into clear campaign strategies and lead their execution across channels.

Key Responsibilities

During Contract Period (1099)

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies across email, website, social media, and podcast platforms to support audience growth and program enrollment
  • Plan and lead integrated marketing campaigns, establishing KPIs and coordinating execution across channels
  • Deliver regular marketing performance reports, analyzing campaign and channel results to inform future strategy
  • Manage the content calendar and campaign production workflow, including planning, approvals, and brand compliance
  • Oversee website updates and marketing landing pages to support active campaigns and conversion goals
  • Write or direct marketing copy for landing pages, campaign launches, and sponsored content
  • Coordinate marketing contributors and production partners (e.g., email, social, podcast, video, and audio) to execute campaign deliverables
  • Stay current on content trends and platform best practices, assigning content aligned with campaign strategy and supporting production when needed

Upon Transition to Full-Time Employment (W2)

  • Assume full ownership of marketing channel performance and campaign operations
  • Manage and develop marketing team members responsible for channel execution and content production
  • Lead ongoing marketing strategy in alignment with company growth goals and brand direction

Employment Details

Type of Hire: This role begins as an initial 6-month 1099 contract with the opportunity to transition into a full-time W2 position based on performance and team needs. Contractors are not required to reside in Washington state during the contract period. If the role converts to full-time employment, the employee will be expected to reside in Washington State, and relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
