Key Responsibilities

As a Marketing Generalist at StellarWP, you will support content-focused marketing efforts across some of our leading WordPress brands. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help manage plans developed by the Product Marketing team to create and share engaging marketing content that connects with our community and supports our product growth plans. Your day-to-day might include:

• Manage Annual Plans: Based on the goals defined in GTMs and marketing plans and in collaboration with the Product Marketing teams, you will drive campaign execution of product launches, feature rollouts, and updates across all marketing channels.
• Content Production: Draft and edit marketing content such as emails, blog posts, and landing pages to be published using WordPress. You will collaborate in Google Docs and track tasks in Asana to keep projects moving.
• Campaign Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, blog, and social media using tools like ActiveCampaign, Loomly, and Slack to stay aligned with the team.
• Messaging Support: Collaborate across teams to help ensure our messaging is consistent, clear, and customer-focused.

• Video Content: In collaboration with Product Marketing and Brand Marketing, build video content pieces and record screen-share tutorials, product demos, and on-camera videos using Loom or similar tools. Light editing may be involved.
• Creative Collaboration: Partner with Brand Marketing using tools like Figma to contribute to visuals for campaigns, landing pages, and other marketing materials.

• Customer & Market Research: Help gather user feedback, testimonials, and competitive insights to inform messaging and content. You may use tools such as SEMrush, internal survey results, or user interview summaries.
• Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring and reporting on marketing performance using Google Analytics, ActiveCampaign reporting, and other platforms to help evaluate what’s working and what can be improved.

• Social Media: Help create and schedule social media campaigns and customer engagement using Loomly, aligning it with current campaigns and brand voice.
• Team Communication: Work closely with the content, product, and design teams using Slack, Google Workspace, and Asana to stay organized and move forward.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within B2B SaaS, tech, or WordPress-related companies.
• Excellent writing and communication skills—clear, persuasive, and adaptable to different tones and audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Familiarity with WordPress and experience using a CMS to publish and edit content.
• A data-driven mindset with an eye for how content supports growth goals.
• A collaborative, positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Bonus Points If You:

• Know the WordPress ecosystem or have used StellarWP products before.
• Have basic video editing skills or experience with tools like Loom, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or Descript.
• Are comfortable with on-camera video work (you will be recording tutorials, walk-throughs, and other content).
• Have experience working in a fully remote team.
