Yes, it's undoubtedly changed the game for a lot of what we do in marketing and comms. But it's also made the skill of human relationship-building even more critical.
This person will be a unicorn π¦ Part PR wiz, part brand revolutionary, part "walk the walk" comms powerhouse... and 100% open to trying something new. All while doing it at one of the coolest companies - Mappedin and IMO, on the coolest team under Francois "Frank" Garneau-So.

This is Mappedin's first dedicated communications hire β and it's a builder role, not a maintenance role.
The marketing team has grown significantly over the past three years, pipeline generation is strong, and a recent raise announcement demonstrated what a best-in-class communications motion can do for Mappedin. This role exists to build on that momentum: formalizing the brand voice, scaling the PR motion, deepening investor communications, and ensuring the corporate narrative is consistent across every audience.
We've already proven what's possible. A recent raise announcement drove earned media in national business and trade press, generated meaningful inbound from key verticals, and put the CEO in front of audiences that matter. Mappedin can play above its weight class in communications β and this role exists to scale that motion.

The Mappedin marketing team is ~10 people β strong individual operators who own their functions. The culture is flat, fast, and AI-first. The team builds internal apps, automates aggressively, and doesn't wait for permission. Access to anyone in the org β including the CEO β is real.
We move fast and pivot as needed. We operate with experimental mindsets and are constantly pushing the boundaries of our industry. Because of this, we canβt guarantee exactly what youβll be working on three months from now but we can guarantee that you will be working on high value projects that will foster your growth along with Mappedinβs.
