Qwilr is looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to own and scale our top-of-funnel growth engine.

This role is accountable for generating high-intent demand that converts into new business revenue. You’ll set the growth strategy, run experiments to identify new growth areas, and work hands-on with our internal team and partners to turn channels into predictable revenue drivers.

You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution: keeping a clear view of the numbers and the market, while still rolling up your sleeves to ship, test, optimise, and scale.

We’ve built a well-loved brand with a strong growth foundation. This role is pivotal to taking our growth to new heights. You'll report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Jess Tassell.

Why this role is exciting

  • You’ll own growth outcomes, not just channels.
  • You’ll work with a well-loved product and strong baseline performance.
  • You’ll have autonomy to experiment, learn fast, and shape Qwilr’s next growth chapter.
  • You’ll partner closely with senior GTM leaders and have real influence on strategy and results.
  • You’ll have a fully stacked in-house marketing team, including design, engineering, PMM, rev ops, data, lifecycle and growth to collaborate with.

What you’ll focus on in your first 4–6 months

  • Build a deep understanding of our funnel, customers, and existing growth levers.
  • Strengthen performance and predictability across our core channels.
  • Identify and validate 1 - 2 new growth motions with clear scale potential.
  • Establish clear growth reporting and decision-making frameworks.

What success looks like in this role

Own and deliver growth outcomes.

  • Own top-of-funnel performance, with a clear focus on driving consistent demo volume, conversion to revenue, and healthy payback economics.
  • Translate company revenue goals into clear growth targets, channel plans, and experiment roadmaps
  • Build confidence in what’s working, what’s not, and where to invest next.

Lead & scale established channels.

You won’t be running everything solo, but you’ll be accountable for performance, prioritisation, and learning across:

  • SEM – strategic ownership, performance optimisation, and roadmap with support from our external agency handling day-to-day execution
  • SEO/AEO – partner closely with our in house Growth Marketing Manager to drive sustainable, high-intent organic growth and influence how we appear on AI platforms

Identify and unlock new channels.

  • Design and run experiments to unlock new growth levers
  • Be comfortable operating in ambiguity, knowing that many experiments won’t work or scale. Be quick to double down on the ones that show credible signals of scale.
  • Build a repeatable test → learn → scale framework for new initiatives. Be relentlessly curious about getting to the core insight as to what is working, and why.

Be a go-to cross functional partner.

  • Work closely with GTM leaders to align on lead quality, conversion, and feedback loops
  • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Creative, and Lifecycle to ensure growth initiatives are complementary, impactful, and aligned with our broader marketing strategy.
  • Act as a thought partner to the CMO, Head of Revenue Operations, Product Marketing Manager and the wider org, with a general willingness to work outside of your main lane as needed.

What we’re looking for

  • ~5+ years experience in a growth oriented marketing role in a fast moving SMB environment (flexible on if this is B2B SaaS or consumer).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, not just traffic or leads.
  • Strong understanding of performance economics: CAC, payback, conversion rates, attribution and the relative trade-offs here.
  • Experience overseeing paid search and SEO, even if execution is partially delegated.
  • Comfortable running experiments, analysing results, and making clear investment calls.
  • Strong analytical instincts, paired with good judgment and curiosity.

  • Experience scaling one or both sales-led and/or product-led growth motions.
