Growth Marketer

UnitedAg is hiring a growth marketer, and I’ll personally be coaching them. UnitedAg is the largest agricultural health plan trust in the country, with over $20M in new sales each year in the region we're hiring for.

You don't need a growth or benefits background. We care less about your resume and more about how you operate:

✅You move fast & check in without being asked
✅When a deal stalls, your instinct is to try something new rather than wait.
✅When you hit a wall, you use ChatGPT/Claude/Canva/etc. to get unstuck instead of waiting for someone else to solve it.
✅You write clearly and get to the point.
✅You want healthcare to feel more human and reach more people.

Here's what you'd get:

- Real autonomy to run unusual experiments (want to do a YouTube-style 'Hot Ones' challenge with ag workers? If it drives business and you can show the results, go for it.).
- The pace of an early-stage startup inside an organization that's been stable since 1980.
- Weekly coaching from me that'll teach you growth marketing skills you can take anywhere. In the age of AI, the ability to actually drive growth is one of the most valuable skills you can build. (Check the Loom in the comment below for more info on this!)

You'd also be joining a company that actually promotes from within: the CEO started as an assistant controller, the head of IT started at the help desk, and the chief of staff started as an admin.

The comp is $130K to $160K base plus 1% commission on attributed new business. You'll need to be willing to obtain the California Life & Health Insurance License (about 10 hours of study, but you can start without it).

The process: One month part-time at ~10-20 hours per week, then transition to full-time if it's a fit on both sides.
